Travel to the Isle of Lewis
To travel to the Isles of Lewis and Harris, you have two main options: by ferry and by plane.
We have grouped the Isle of Lewis and Harris together for this page as the two places are really the same island as far as travel goes. In other words, the two islands are physically connected and there is no water between them.
BY FERRY
The ferry service to Lewis and Harris has three routes, all run by Caledonian MacBrayne

BY PLANE
The Airport is located approx 3 miles east of Stornoway town centre and is clearly sign posted from the A866.
